Train the Trainer course
Registrations are open for the Train the Trainer course, a short, hands-on programme to help teachers design, facilitate, and assess authentic technical learning experiences in which students build technical competences while practising the transversal skills of the TRIComp Framework.
The modules are delivered by project partners Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and the Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft (BVMW), bridging the academic and business perspectives.
The course is meant for around 30 participants from HVET and ITS Academy teachers, university lecturers and researchers, to company mentors and innovation experts. Experience in industry or applied research is considered a plus.
Places are limited! Find out more below and register today.

HUCO Labs team meets in VIlnius
In June, the consortium held its fourth transnational project meeting in Vilnius, hosted by Sunrise Tech Park.
Project partners reviewed overall project coordination and management activities and discussed the state of the art and upcoming milestones. The programme also included a visit to the Semiconductor Optics Laboratory and the Photonics Technology and Devices Laboratory of the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC), Lithuania’s largest scientific research institution.
Creative Days 2026
On 23-25 September, a HUCO Labs delegation travelled to Lisbon to take part in the Creative Days 2026, organised by project partner European Entrepreneurs.
The meeting coincided with the signature of a declaration for a Manifesto on Incremental Innovation, preparing the launch of a Europe-wide initiative promoting incremental innovation as a key driver of European economic growth and SME competitiveness, based on the experience of the HUCO Labs project.

DigiGreen Conference

In June, HUCO Labs joined the international DigiGreen conference in Vilnius. HUCO Labs powered the session on Future Skills, addressing the challenge on how to prepare talents for an uncertain future, with technologies changing our work environment at an unprecedented pace and the skills required evolving faster than traditional education systems can adapt.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue developing this project!
