At the Zukunftstag Mittelstand 2026 in Berlin—one of Germany’s most prominent gatherings for small and medium-sized enterprises, organised by Der Mittelstand BVMW—HUCO Labs stood out as a key highlight of European engagement, presented by European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME.
Bringing the voice of entrepreneurs to the European stage, CEA-PME engaged with policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators on critical themes such as resilience, digitalisation, and the green transition. Central to its presence was the HUCO Labs project, which was prominently showcased as a flagship EU-funded initiative. Through this, attendees were introduced to its mission, practical tools, and concrete opportunities for SMEs to actively participate in EU-level innovation ecosystems—demonstrating how such projects translate policy into tangible business value.
HUCO Labs at the heart of SME engagement
The strong interest in HUCO Labs underscored the growing demand among SMEs for accessible pathways into European programmes. By spotlighting this initiative, CEA-PME not only illustrated the benefits of EU collaboration but also positioned HUCO Labs as a gateway for SMEs to engage, innovate, and scale within a broader European framework.
With over 7000 SMEs in attendance, the event reinforced the importance of initiatives like HUCO Labs in ensuring that smaller businesses are not just represented, but actively involved in shaping Europe’s industrial and innovation future.
